RaW BaNaNa BrEaD BaRs

I know I am the worst at this blogging thing, but in an attempt to try to keep my recipes in order here is my Raw Banana Bread Power Bars

2 ripe bananas
1c walnuts
1c pecans
½ c raisins or more
¾ c Coconut pieces
About 1c dates pitted
¼ c Wholegrain Flax seed
Dash of maple syrup
2/3 c GF rolled oats
Dash of cinnamon
1tsp vanilla extract
Blend all in food processor
Mix will be a bit chunky. Works best to pulse and chop the raisins, dates, nuts and seeds first then add remaining ingredients.
Once it is all pulsed or mixed together well spread into 9x9 baking dish evenly.
Sprinkle with finely grated coconut and set in fridge for about an hour. Then cut into bars and enjoy.
I also rolled a bunch of these into power balls for quick snacks as well for my kids for dance, soccer etc. Makes a nice one bite pop in the mouth healthy energy filled treat. Since the mix is a bit sticky if you roll into power balls roll in finely grated coconut, flax seeds, finely chopped pecans or walnuts or raw cacao powder yum!
